Today’s Weather: Variably Cloudy, Light To Moderate Showers; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect variably cloudy conditions today (Wednesday 3rd September, 2025) with occasional light to moderate showers and isolated heavy showers/thunderstorms. Conditions are expected to become more settled by evening. Tonight will initially be mostly fair despite isolated showers. Increased cloudiness with a few showers is expected by pre-dawn. There is a low (30%) chance of the isolated early-morning thunderstorm.
The Met Office notes that gusty winds and street/flash flooding may occur in/near heavy showers/thunderstorms.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves occasionally near 1.5m in open waters and below 1m and choppy during showers in sheltered areas.
