According to reports, Kiss Baking Company Limited has quietly adjusted prices of several of its popular snack products, with distributors and supermarkets having already received a revised price list. Prices for some of the company’s snack cakes increased on Monday 24th August, 2026. The revised pricing covers a number of products, including Double Cups, Iced Double Cups, Goodies, Muffins and the Variety Pack Family. The changes were said to have been communicated to distributors and sales personnel in an internal memorandum dated 21st August, 2026. Under the revised pricing, Orange Double Cup, Choc-a-Lot and Banana Double Cup now carry a suggested retail price of $4. The memorandum lists the wholesale price for each at $3.20 before VAT. The Strawberry Iced Double Cup, Chocolate Iced Double Cup and Lucky Iced Cupcake are listed with a suggested retail price of $5, with a wholesale price of $4. The Supermarket Association of Trinidad and Tobago (SATT) said it “wishes to assure the public that there is no need for rushed shopping in light of recent news reports . Our members remain well-stocked, and supply chains continue to function normally.” In a Public Notice issued today (Friday 31st October, 2025), SATT said, “We urge customers to shop responsibly, as this helps ensure that everyone in our communities can access the goods they need. Supermarkets across the country will continue to work closely with suppliers to maintain consistent availability of all products, including essential items.
