Today: Partly Cloudy, Light To Moderate Showers — Low Saharan Dust; 32°C Max

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect partly cloudy conditions today (Wednesday 10th June, 2026), with a few light or moderate showers. There is a low to medium chance for a heavy shower or isolated thunderstorm.  In the event of a heavy shower or thunderstorm, winds can become gusty, with some street flooding in the vicinity.  View the latest 5-day weather outlook . T&T 5-Day Weather Outlook: Tuesday To Saturday

According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), a well-formed and relatively strong North Atlantic high pressure cell is expected to continue pushing moderately strong winds across the Tropical Atlantic, transporting varying concentrations of Saharan dust across Trinidad and Tobago and the Lesser Antilles during this outlook period (Tuesday 9th June to Saturday 13th June, 2026). While the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is likely to remain South of Trinidad, the passage of Tropical Waves is expected to cause some moisture to be modulated Northward across Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Windward Islands, increasing convergence and cloudy periods with medium chances for isolated heavy showers or thunderstorm activity, between pre-dawn on Wednesday (10th June, 2026) and pre-dawn on Friday (12th June, 2026). Tonight is expected to be fair with some showery intervals, mainly after Midnight. The Met Office notes that a mild concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect variable cloud cover with a few periods of rainfall today (Sunday 7th June, 2026), especially over Trinidad. There is also a medium (60%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. Conditions are expected to settle before evening, apart from the odd lingering shower. Street flooding and gusty winds are likely in the event of heavy downpours. The Met Office notes that an increase in Saharan dust is expected this evening. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect partly cloudy conditions today (Saturday 6th June, 2026), with a few showers, and the low (25%) chance of isolated heavy showers, favouring Trinidad. Conditions are expected to become temporarily settled and hazy this afternoon into this evening.  Tonight will be mostly fair but hazy. Conditions will become increasingly cloudy with a few showers near Midnight. From Midnight, cloudy conditions with intermittent showers/periods of rain are expected. There is also a medium (40% - 60%) chance of isolated heavy showers/thunderstorms, favouring Trinidad. Met Office Monitoring TWO (2) Approaching Tropical Waves

Meteorologist Gary Benjamin of the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has provided an update on two (2) approaching Tropical Waves and the likely weather conditions Trinidad and Tobago can expect in the coming days. According to Mr. Benjamin today (Wednesday 3rd June, 2026), the axes of two (2) Tropical Waves being monitored by the Met Office are now to the near-East of Trinidad and Tobago. As was forecast, the country is likely to begin to experience varying extents of cloudiness and showers between tomorrow (Thursday 4th June, 2026) and Sunday (7th June, 2026). The chances for the development of a heavy shower or isolated thunderstorm activity is at this time estimated to be medium to high, approximately 50% to 80%. In the event of a heavy shower or thunderstorm, winds are likely to become gusty and some street or flash flooding can be expected in the vicinity. WASA Managing Supply During Lingering Dry Season Conditions

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is calling on the national community to support responsible water use, as the North-West region navigates the lingering effects of the 2026 Dry Season. While the Rainy Season was officially declared in May 2026 , the Authority notes that a transition period of up to two (2) months is typical before surface water sources fully stabilize, a reality that affects not only the North-West but also serves as a reminder for the entire country. In a Media Release today (Monday 25th May, 2026), WASA said the North-West region has been “particularly impacted by lower than average rainfall, affecting all surface water facilities, including the Maraval Water Treatment Plant and numerous medium to small-scale intakes. Production volumes remain reduced and will only recover following sustained rainfall across the region. Groundwater sources have also been affected.
