According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), two (2) men charged with three (3) counts of home invasion and possession of a weapon, following an incident in Princes Town during which a teenager was allegedly assaulted, have each been granted bail in the sum of $250,000. The TTPS said the accused, Dane Nesbit, also known as ‘Frank,’ 43, and Elisah Bynoe, also known as ‘Elijah Anderson’ and ‘Waynee,’ 22, appeared before Master Goswami at the Princes Town South-B AJIPA Court on Monday (2nd November, 2026). Neither accused was called upon to plead. They were each granted bail with surety in the sum of $250,000 and ordered to report to the Princes Town Police Station once per week, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), two (2) men have been arrested following an alleged warehouse breaking and larceny at a construction site in El Socorro, San Juan, early Friday morning (30th October, 2026). The TTPS said around 2:45 AM, Officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force (NEDTF), acting on information received from the Command Centre, responded to a report of suspicious activity at a building located at the corner of M.I. Trace and Boundary Road, El Socorro. While proceeding along M.I. Trace, Officers reportedly observed two (2) men rolling an orange and black 100-pound oxygen tank along the roadway. The Officers intercepted the men and conducted searches, during which a bag containing several tools was found in the possession of one of the suspects. A man suffered a wrist injury during a brazen robbery in broad daylight on Thursday afternoon (29th October, 2026) in Port-of-Spain, in which his gold beera valued at $2,800 was violently stolen. According to reports, the male victim was seated inside his Audi, which was parked along Broadway, facing South in the vicinity of KFC, with all the windows secured, when he suddenly heard a knock on his driver’s side window, around 3:00 PM. A man of African descent, approximately five (5) feet - three (3) inches tall, with a round face, wearing a shirt and a black cap was standing outside the vehicle. Believing the man was someone he knew, the victim lowered the window. The suspect then grabbed the gold beera from the victim’s right wrist. A struggle ensued as the bandit repeatedly pulled at the jewellery until the beera eventually came off, leaving the victim with an injury to his right wrist. According to reports, an off-duty Police Officer was robbed of his expensive gold bracelet and his cellphone while seated in his vehicle outside a computer store in Couva on Tuesday afternoon (27th October, 2026). Reports state the 51-year-old Officer was in the car park of The Wizz Computers, located along the Southern Main Road, Couva, when a man approached, opened the driver’s door and warned him, “Doh beat up,” around 3:00 PM. A struggle subsequently ensued before the suspect escaped with a gold, diamond-cut bracelet valued at $8,000 and a Samsung A52 cellphone valued at $2,800. The bandit then fled East along the Southern Main Road. The Officer contacted his colleagues, who responded to the scene. Investigations are continuing into the brazen robbery. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), a Diego Martin man has been charged after investigations into a case of assault with intent to rob, which occurred last month. The suspect has been identified as 21-year-old Elijah Lucas, also known as “Li Li.” The TTPS said on Friday 25th September, 2026, a Petit Valley woman reported an assault with intent to rob after an incident along Palm Avenue East. Investigations were conducted by Officers of the West End Criminal Investigations Department (CID), with assistance of the Carenage, Maraval and Four Roads CID. During a co-ordinated exercise with the Western Divisional Task Force, Officers were able to apprehend and charge Lucas. A Sangre Grande man was charged and three (3) other people arrested after fourteen (14) pairs of shoes, ten (10) cellphones and a laptop were recently stolen from a Valencia business place. The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Elijah Andrews. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), on Wednesday 14th October, 2026, a man reported a break-in at his business with more than $41,000 worth of goods stolen, including iPhones, Samsung cellphones, ASICS sneakers, Nike Air Max sneakers, P-6000 sneakers, and an HP laptop. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), four (4) men have been arrested following a robbery with violence in San Juan last night (Sunday 25th October, 2026), during which several personal items were stolen from a 45-year-old bar proprietor. The TTPS said the victim reported that around 10:30 PM, he parked his silver Nissan Navara along the roadway in front of his home at Real Street, San Juan. As he was walking towards his home, he was approached by two (2) masked men. One of the suspects, who was armed with a firearm, pressed it against the victim’s body and announced a robbery. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), two (2) persons were arrested on Friday afternoon (23rd October, 2026) following a robbery at a residence on Ramnath Street, Malabar. The TTPS said at approximately 2:15 PM, first responders from the Malabar Police Post responded to a report of robbery at Ramnath Street, where they interviewed the victim, who reported that she had been robbed of a handbag containing cash and valuables. The victim told Officers that she had arrived home and parked her green Toyota Corolla on the roadway. As she entered her yard and opened the vehicle door, a man allegedly entered the yard, held her by the neck and demanded her bag. A man is dead following a shooting incident in Malick, Barataria, on Wednesday morning (21st October, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Shimmel Marshall of Watson Court Extension, Couva, who was an employee of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, along with his wife. He was ambushed and killed during a fake car sale which was advertised on Facebook Marketplace. According to reports, Marshall drove to a location along Upper Ninth Avenue in a gold Nissan Tiida, in the company of a 57-year-old man, to purchase a vehicle advertised on Facebook Marketplace for $15,000. Upon arriving near LP #11, the pair was approached by three (3) masked men, two (2) of whom were brandishing firearms, around 11:45 AM. The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is urging members of the public to exercise extreme caution when withdrawing or transporting large sums of cash, following several recent reports of robberies and larcenies involving persons who were targeted after leaving banks and other financial institutions. In some instances, cash was taken directly from individuals , while in others, money was stolen from vehicles in which it had been left. The TTPS is warning that “criminals may be monitoring customers outside financial institutions and could follow them before seizing an opportunity to strike on the street, at a traffic stop, or at their homes or businesses. Such encounters can escalate into violence, placing lives at risk. No amount of money is worth your life. Arouca CID Officers are investigating a robbery with violence in which a 37-year-old woman was relieved of $20,000 in cash in broad daylight in the car park of Trincity Mall, on Tuesday afternoon (20th October, 2026). According to reports, around 12:15 PM, the victim withdrew $20,000 in cash from a bank in Trincity and then went to the Trincity Mall to get something to eat. Upon exiting the mall, she was in the car park near Pennywise when she was approached by three (3) men who announced a robbery. The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) said the suspects grabbed her purse, and a struggle ensued when she refused to let go. A man was robbed of more than $17,000 in cash from his parked vehicle outside of Soody’s Homemade Ice Cream in Marabella on Wednesday morning (21st October, 2026). According to reports, the 40-year-old victim parked and secured his gold Nissan Note before leaving the vehicle, around 11:05 AM. However, when he returned approximately five (5) minutes later, he discovered the glass on the driver’s door was smashed. A check revealed that $17,209 in cash was missing from an envelope he kept beneath the front passenger seat. A report was made to the Police. UPDATE (22/10/26): Police said a total of eight (8) men, aged between nineteen (19) and thirty-nine (39), have been arrested in connection with this terrifying incident. The 56-year-old woman is said to have withdrawn TT $22,000 in cash from a local bank, around 3:10 PM, then drove to Adam’s Bagels, where she parked her white Kia Sportage and went inside the establishment. The robbery later occurred around 3:37 PM, during which her black handbag containing the large sum of cash was stolen by the bandits, all of whom were of African descent. Officers subsequently intercepted a black Honda City with four (4) male occupants along Morne Coco Road in Petit Valley, in the vicinity of Yogi Drive. The four (4) men were detained and assisted with the investigation. A delivery driver was reportedly robbed of approximately $14,000 in gold jewellery and cash while unloading goods from a company truck in Claxton Bay on Saturday afternoon (17th October, 2026). According to reports, the 62-year-old driver, employed with Persad’s 'D' Food King Supermarket in New Grant, parked the company’s white truck along Dump Road and exited the vehicle to offload goods by a customer, when he was approached by three (3) men, around 5:00 PM. One of the suspects pulled a knife, pointed it at the victim and announced a robbery. Two (2) of the men then allegedly relieved him of a gold chain valued at $6,000, a gold pendant valued at $1,000, a gold ring valued at $6,000, and $1,000 in cash. The bandits then fled South along Dump Road. Police were alerted and responded to the scene. However, they were unable to locate the men. Investigations are continuing into the armed robbery. Officers of the Stolen Vehicles Squad recovered a stolen Nissan Tiida during an intelligence-led operation in Diego Martin on Friday afternoon (16th October, 2026). According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), the operation, conducted between 12:30 PM and 2:45 PM, took Officers to Abdool Lane, Morne Coco Road, where they observed a silver Nissan Tiida parked along the roadway. A physical examination and further enquiries revealed that the vehicle bore incorrect registration plates and had been reported stolen in the Barataria district sometime between 11:30 PM on Friday 9th October, 2026 and 10:30 PM on Saturday 10th October, 2026. The vehicle was processed by PCs Chandler and Denny of the Western Division Crime Scene Investigations Unit before being conveyed to the Barataria Police Station, where it was handed over to Ag. Cpl. The TTPS said around 1:50 AM, a proprietor was reportedly awakened by a noise and observed three (3) masked men on his business premises via CCTV. A 72-year-old woman has been left traumatized after she was robbed of a pair of expensive gold beras outside the Chaguanas Market in broad daylight on Thursday afternoon (15th October, 2026). According to reports, the elderly woman walked out of the market and upon reaching the corner of Market Street and Eleanor Road, she was approached by two (2) men, around 12:00 PM. The men announced a robbery and stole a pair of gold beras from the woman, valued at TT $5,000. The suspects then fled East along Eleanor Road before heading North along the Eastern side of the market, towards the Chaguanas Main Road. The TTPS said Officers, acting on information received, responded promptly, around 11:30 PM, and subsequently intercepted a station wagon vehicle along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, in the vicinity of the Indian Trail Flyover. A person of interest in a recent home invasion was held after a Police-involved shooting incident in Wallerfield last night (Wednesday 14th October, 2026). According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), around 9:00 PM, Officers assigned to the Northern Division CID responded to a report of several loud explosions heard at Antigua Road, Wallerfield. Upon arrival, the Officers exited their unmarked Police vehicle and walked approximately fifty (50) feet off the roadway into a dirt road surrounded by bushes. While walking, they observed a group of men standing next to gold-colored Nissan B13 with two (2) of them holding what appeared to be firearms in their hands.
