Temporary Traffic Disruption Along Churchill Roosevelt Highway And Beetham Highway Until 7th August, 2026

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is advising the public of a temporary traffic disruption along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and the Beetham Highway, from Monday 3rd August, 2026 to Friday 7th August, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. This disruption is necessary to facilitate routine maintenance works, including an intensive vegetation-control exercise comprising grass cutting, edging, weeding and debris collection. Works will be undertaken along the following locations: The median of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, between Valsayn and the Barataria Overpass; and The Beetham Highway, between the Barataria Overpass and the overpass in the vicinity of the Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited. WASA: Traffic Advisory For Residents Along Southern Main Road, La Brea

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising motorists and members of the general public of pipeline repair works to be undertaken at LP #1600 Southern Main Road, La Brea, between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Saturday (18th July, 2026). Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, as heavy equipment and work crews will be in operation to facilitate urgent repair works. The public is further advised to follow the instructions of traffic management personnel during the execution of works. Please be guided accordingly.

Traffic Disruption Along Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway (Claxton Bay To Gasparillo) Until 31st July, 2026

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is advising the public of a temporary traffic disruption along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway (Claxton Bay to Gasparillo) from today (Monday 13th July, 2026) to Friday 31st July, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM. This temporary disruption is necessary to facilitate the replacement of damaged metal beam guardrails. Alternative Route: Motorists are advised to utilize the Southern Main Road as an alternative route. In light of the above, motorists are advised to: Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers. Comply with instructions issued by Police Officers and flag persons on-site to facilitate the safe and orderly flow of traffic. Traffic Disruption Along Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Beetham Highway, Westbound

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation is advising motorists that pavement marking works will be carried out along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Beetham Highway, Westbound, between the Aranguez Overpass and Pioneer Drive. The works form part of the Ministry’s ongoing programme to maintain and improve road safety on the nation’s roadways. Start Date: 13th July, 2026 Completion Date: 24th July, 2026 Working Hours: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM The Ministry notes that in order to minimize traffic disruption, works have been scheduled during the school vacation period when traffic volumes are typically lower. To facilitate the works, sections of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Beetham Highway, Westbound, will be temporarily restricted in phases. Motorists will be directed to use the remaining open lanes. T&TEC: Traffic Interruption Along Uriah Butler Highway — Bamboo Village

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) will be conducting overhead line maintenance in the Bamboo Village area , which will necessitate the interruption of the normal flow of traffic. These works are scheduled to take place between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday (5th June, 2026) and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday (7th June, 2026), along the Uriah Butler Highway, between the Bamboo Village Overpass and the Caroni River. Vehicular traffic along the Uriah Butler Highway, Northbound lane (the Westernmost lane), will be affected. T&TEC: Traffic Interruption — Northbound Lane of Saddle Road, Maraval

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising motorists that it will be conducting emergency underground work today (Wednesday 3rd June, 2026) in the vicinity of Republic Bank, Ellerslie Plaza, Maraval. The work is necessary to repair a fault on an underground high voltage cable and, as a result, there will be an interruption in the flow of traffic on the Northbound lane of Saddle Road until 8:00 PM. Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and to follow the instructions of the Police Officers on-site. The Commission apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these repair works. The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising motorists that it will be conducting overhead line maintenance along the Uriah Butler Highway, Caroni, which will necessitate the interruption of the normal flow of traffic between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday (24th May, 2026). During this time, vehicular traffic along the Uriah Butler Highway, both Southbound and Northbound lanes, (South of the Caroni River, in the vicinity of the Bamboo 132/66 kV Substation) will be intermittently affected. This disruption is necessary to facilitate road rehabilitation works, which are scheduled to commence on Thursday (30th April, 2026), between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. TTPS Urges Motorists To Adjust Schedules For School Re-Opening On Monday

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is reminding the public that according to the Ministry of Education, the re-opening of schools is scheduled for Monday (13th April, 2026). In a Media Release today (Sunday 12th April, 2026), the TTPS said, “As such, the TTPS wishes to remind motorists to re-adjust schedules to factor in increased traffic on the roadways as well as be extra-vigilant for school children crossing roadways and stay alert for children entering and exiting from vehicles.” Senior Superintendent of the Traffic & Highway Patrol Branch, Lincoln Daly, is warning drivers who are in a hurry and may think to “take a chance” on the shoulder that his Officers will be out in full force to help ensure persons have a safe journey across the Highway network. The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising of a partial road closure on Fondes Amandes Road, St. Ann’s , for urgent sewer main works, as follows: DATE: Monday 23rd March, 2026 to Tuesday 31st March, 2026. PERIOD: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Motorists are urged to proceed with caution and follow Police or Traffic Warden instructions.
