Traffic Disruption On Tuesday Along Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, After Tarouba Ramp — Northbound

The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is advising the public of a temporary traffic disruption along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, affecting the Northbound far-left lane and shoulder, after the Tarouba Ramp, on Tuesday (26th May, 2026).

This temporary disruption has become necessary to facilitate repair works to a roadway depression. These works are scheduled to take place between the hours of 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM (weather permitting).

In light of the above, motorists are advised to:

  • Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs, barriers and traffic management measures in place.
  • Comply with instructions from Police Officers or flag personnel on-site to facilitate the safe and orderly flow of traffic.
  • Be mindful of equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
  • Reduce speed and exercise caution when approaching and traversing the work zone.

The Ministry said it regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its continued co-operation and understanding.
