The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is advising that an intelligence‑led operation, conducted between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM on Friday (31st July, 2026), resulted in the fatal shooting of escaped prisoner, Robby Khadoo, and the arrest of a female for harbouring an escaped prisoner. Khadoo, known by several aliases, including Allan Charles, Joshua Dillon Chambers, Robby Dylan Khadoo and Robby Dillon Joshua Khadoo, who had been charged with murder, attempted murder, and wounding with intent, escaped lawful custody at the Arima Hospital on 3rd July, 2026 . A Police Officer and a teenage suspect are dead following a shooting incident in Kelly Village, Caroni, last night (Tuesday 28th July, 2026). The deceased Officer has been identified as 48-year-old Police Constable Romell Kerry Douglas, who was last assigned to the Four Roads Police Station. His licensed firearm was stolen during the suspected robbery. According to reports, PC Douglas, who was off-duty at the time, was sitting in his white Nissan Tiida (PDD 6374) along South Bank Road, near Hydraulic Trace, when gunmen alighted from another white Nissan Tiida and confronted him, around 11:05 PM. The assailants opened fire, striking Douglas multiple times about the body. However, he managed to return fire during the attack, striking one of the suspects. A man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of 81-year-old pensioner, James Le Cadre, which occurred on 27th June, 2026. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), 22-year-old Kendelle Michael Seales, aka ‘Shango,’ of Valencia, was charged with the offence when he appeared before Master Raydon Dalrymple-Watts, in the High Court North ‘B,’ on Tuesday (21st July, 2026). The matter was adjourned to 10th October, 2026. Le Cadre, of Plantation Road, Valencia, was found burnt to death at his home on 27th June, 2026. A man is dead following a shooting incident near his home in Chaguanas last night (Thursday 23rd July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old taxi driver, Joel Macoon of 111 New Settlement, Caroni Savannah Road, Chaguanas. According to reports, Macoon was crossing the road near his home, heading to a nearby mini-mart, when a gunman alighted from a silver Toyota Axio and opened fire in his direction. The gunman then re-entered the waiting vehicle, which sped away from the scene. Macoon collapsed on the roadway after being shot. Officers from the Chaguanas Police Station were alerted by the E999 Police Command Centre to a report of loud explosions heard in the area, and responded to the scene, shortly after 7:00 PM. The decomposing body of a missing man was found in the Heights of Aripo in Arima on Monday afternoon (20th July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Mayfan Claircin of Eastern Quarry, Laventille, who was an employee of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure. Claircin was last seen around 11:30 PM on Friday night (17th July, 2026), after he reportedly left home in his red Mazda 323 (PCC 9986) to meet a woman in Valencia — but never returned. Relatives became worried and visited the Besson Street Police Station, where they filed a report. His body was discovered days later, shortly after 4:00 PM on Monday, behind a wire fence on the Northern side of the entrance road leading to WASA’s Aripo Rural Intake Facility. The body, which was subsequently identified by relatives, was found in a slightly crouched position and was in an advanced state of decomposition. A man is dead following a brutal shooting incident in broad daylight in Barataria earlier today (Tuesday 21st July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as Shaquille Charles of Mon Repos Road, Morvant, who was said to be an employee of Parts World Limited (PWL).  Investigators believe this is the latest killing linked to an escalating gang feud between the Chinapoo and Mon Repos areas. According to reports, Charles was gunned down in the car park of a business place along the Eastern Main Road, Barataria. Police and Emergency Health Services were notified and responded to the scene. However, Charles succumbed to his injuries. A man is dead following a violent altercation in San Juan on Friday afternoon (17th July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 66-year-old PH taxi driver, Peter Peters, of Thomas Street, Sunshine Avenue, San Juan. According to reports, Peters became involved in an altercation with two (2) men along Thomas Street, around 2:00 PM. The confrontation quickly turned violent, resulting in Peters being badly beaten and left lying on the roadway, suffering from multiple injuries. Officers attached to the San Juan Police Station responded to a report of an assault received through the E-999 Command Centre, around 4:00 PM. Medical personnel, however, were unable to find any signs of life upon arrival. A District Medical Officer (DMO) pronounced Peters dead and ordered the body removed, pending a post-mortem examination. Two (2) men are dead following near-simultaneous shooting incidents in Siparia last night (Saturday 18th July, 2026). The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Teshawn Baptiste, also known as “Blackboy,” of Lowkie Trace, Penal, and 29-year-old Kwame Parris, also known as “Six,” of Coconut Alley, Siparia. This marks the latest in a string of deadly shootings in Siparia in recent weeks. According to reports, Officers responded to reports of several loud explosions heard in the Sennon Village area, around 9:00 PM. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of both men at separate locations, a short distance apart, leading investigators to believe the shootings occurred around the same time. Several parked vehicles were riddled with bullets, while a nearby building sustained gunshot damage after rounds penetrated the structure. Police later recovered two (2) vehicles believed to have been used in the operation. The deceased has been identified as former cyclist, 62-year-old Dennis Archargee of Quarry Road, Siparia, who was well known in the cycling community. According to reports, relatives last spoke with Archargee around 12:00 PM on Sunday 12th July, 2026, when he visited a family member’s home. He was reported missing on Tuesday (14th July, 2026) after several attempts to reach him were unsuccessful. A relative went to check on Archargee at his home around 10:00 AM on Friday (17th July, 2026), after concerns grew over his whereabouts. A man is dead and a woman wounded following a shooting incident in Siparia on Thursday (16th July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Akeil Packet, also known as “Shaka.” He was killed just weeks after his brother was also murdered in Siparia . According to reports, gunmen alighted from a vehicle and opened fire on Packet, who was at his shop, located along Railway Road, Siparia. During the attack, a female was also wounded. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Kadeem Mason of Cicada Drive, Diego Martin. The wounded men have been identified as 20-year-old Anthony Bonaparte of 69 Cicada Drive, Diego Martin, and 23-year-old Jahiem Fredericks of D'Abadie. UPDATE (16/07/26): Joycelyn Henry-Davis, 71, the mother of murdered Nyron Kyle Davis, said her son was an innocent victim who was caught in the crossfire when gunmen opened fire on Saturday night. Speaking with Crime Watch Host, Ian Alleyne, Henry-Davis described her son as a hardworking plumber who loved football and basketball. She said he had gone out to watch a World Cup football match when tragedy struck. Blaming the widespread availability of illegal firearms, the grieving mother said innocent people continue to lose their lives because criminals have little regard for who gets caught in their attacks. Meanwhile, Davis’ girlfriend, Brianna Ali, also spoke with Ian Alleyne, remembering him as a loving and caring partner whose life was cut short far too soon. A man is dead following an execution-style shooting incident in Chaguaramas on Monday (6th July, 2026). The deceased has been identified as Koby Daniel Thomas. According to reports, Thomas’ bloodied body was discovered by a private Security Officer, who was on his way to report for duty at a tracking facility on Mount St. Catherine, when he noticed a man lying motionless along the roadway, around 8:10 AM. Upon investigating, the Security Officer found Thomas lying on his back, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head and significant blood loss. UPDATE (12/07/26): Police have launched a manhunt for the 23-year-old boyfriend of Kelimar Del Jesus Duran Morillo, following her fatal stabbing early Saturday morning. The incident unfolded just hours after Morillo and her on-and-off boyfriend of three (3) years attended his birthday celebration at his parents’ home in Endeavour, Chaguanas. Police believe Morillo left the gathering at around 1:50 AM on Saturday morning to return to her apartment because she was scheduled to work later that morning. Her 23-year-old boyfriend arrived at the apartment just over an hour later. Investigators said the couple became involved in a heated argument, during which neighbours heard Morillo screaming, “Don't kill me,” before crying out, “Help me!” Alarmed residents rushed to the apartment and discovered Morillo bleeding inside her room. A woman has been charged with the murder of   Chaguanas businessman Gregory Reece , who was stabbed to death at her apartment in Woodford Gardens on Sunday 28th June, 2026. She has been identified as 25-year-old Aaliyah Naipal of corner of Oak Avenue and Coconut Drive, Woodford Gardens. Naipal, who was previously detained following the fatal stabbing incident, appeared before a High Court Master on Monday (6th July, 2026).
