A man is dead following a shooting incident in Williamsville on Thursday afternoon (5th November, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 49-year-old labourer, Aaron Seebaran of Union Road, Marabella. According to reports, around 4:15 PM, a male eyewitness was preparing a meal in a shed at the back of a property along Williamsville Main Road, near the Williamsville Community Centre, when he saw Seebaran running towards the rear of the premises, pursued by a gunman. The suspect, described as a slim-built man of mixed descent, approximately five (5) feet - eight (8) inches tall, reportedly shouted, “Whey meh money?” before three (3) loud explosions were heard. Seebaran was subsequently found slumped in a toilet area at the back of the property, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A man is dead following a shooting incident during a Police raid at his home in Fyzabad on Wednesday afternoon (4th November, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Aaron Anderson, also known as “Kalonji,” of Delhi Road, Fyzabad. He was shot dead after allegedly pointing a firearm in the direction of Police and Soldiers. According to reports, Officers of the Home Invasion Team, accompanied by members of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF), proceeded to Anderson’s home to execute a search warrant for firearms and ammunition, around 4:27 PM. Officers reportedly took up positions around the house while a breach team entered. Police said they encountered Anderson upstairs, where he allegedly pointed a firearm at them. A man is dead and his father wounded following a shooting incident at the family’s tyre shop in Moruga on Sunday afternoon (1st November, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old tyre shop operator, Shyam Balla. This latest deadly incident follows three (3) years of targeted attacks against the Balla-Mansar family. According to reports, two (2) armed men entered the compound of the tyre shop, located along Ramdhanie Road, Indian Walk, Moruga, and opened fire on Shyam and his 55-year-old father, Ramdhanie, around 1:35 PM. The gunmen then escaped on foot. Police and Emergency Health Services were notified and responded to the scene.  Both wounded men were conveyed to the Princes Town Health Facility, where Shyam succumbed from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 2:13 PM. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), a 16-year-old boy is to be charged with the murder of former Police Officer Anthony Hanson, whose lifeless body was discovered at his home on Marcano Street, Princes Town, on Sunday 11th October, 2026. The TTPS said advice to charge was received from Acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Ms. Anju Bhola, on Saturday (31st October, 2026). The teenager, of First Moonan Street, Princes Town, is expected to be formally charged and appear before a Master of the Children’s Court on Monday (2nd November, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Fenwick Gibson of Mc David Street, Lopinot. According to reports, Gibson and his cousin, Este Huggins, visited a gas station in Valencia to refuel their vehicle, when Gibson reportedly became involved in an argument with a group of men, around 5:48 AM. During the confrontation, Gibson was allegedly beaten and stabbed in the neck. He was subsequently placed in a white open-tray van and transported to the Arima Hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. His body was identified by his cousin. Police were alerted and Officers from the Valencia Police Post, including Acting Corporal Ramkhalawan and PC Francis, responded to the scene. The body of a man was found inside a car in Palo Seco earlier today (Sunday 1st November, 2026). The deceased has been identified as William Aliyoung of Skinner Trace, Quarry Village, Siparia. He was shot to death. According to reports, Aliyoung was found inside his Nissan B14 (PBM 4568) with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, along Wilson Trace, Palo Seco. A man is dead following a shooting incident in Malick, Barataria, on Wednesday morning (21st October, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Shimmel Marshall of Watson Court Extension, Couva, who was an employee of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, along with his wife. He was ambushed and killed during a fake car sale which was advertised on Facebook Marketplace. According to reports, Marshall drove to a location along Upper Ninth Avenue in a gold Nissan Tiida, in the company of a 57-year-old man, to purchase a vehicle advertised on Facebook Marketplace for $15,000. Upon arriving near LP #11, the pair was approached by three (3) masked men, two (2) of whom were brandishing firearms, around 11:45 AM. A woman is dead following a shooting incident in Arima early this morning (Saturday 24th October, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Yvette Baptiste of Pinto Road, Arima. According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), a 46-year-old Penal man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the attempted murder of a male victim. The TTPS said Don Sotio of Rochard Road was charged with the offence when he appeared in the Siparia Masters’ Court on Monday (19th October, 2026). He was not called upon to plead and was remanded into custody. The accused will re-appear in Court on 27th October, 2026. The deceased has been identified as 69-year-old Brian De-Peza of Kernaham Trace, Chin Chin Road, Cunupia. According to reports, the victim was discovered at his home around 10:00 PM on Sunday 4th October, 2026, after he was last seen alive a few days earlier, on Friday 2nd October, 2026. A man is dead following a Police-involved shooting incident in Arima early Saturday morning (17th October, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Karlise Hart of Lanse Mitan Road, Carenage. He was shot on a rooftop after allegedly pointing a firearm at Police Officers following a high-speed pursuit. According to reports, Officers on mobile patrol along Koon Koon Street, Malabar, observed a red Nissan Almera with three (3) male occupants who were acting in a suspicious manner, around 12:50 AM. UPDATE (28/10/26):  20-year-old Nicholas Ramlal has been remanded into custody after making his first Court appearance since being charged with the heinous murders of his mother and teenage sister. Ramlal appeared before High Court Master Valene Guerra Abraham on Tuesday afternoon (27th October, 2026). The case was adjourned to 22nd February, 2027. He was detained by Police at the scene of the crime after claiming that his relatives were killed in a home invasion, from which he managed to escape relatively unscathed. The body of a retired Police Officer was found with his hands and feet bound inside his home in Princes Town on Sunday morning (11th October, 2026). The deceased has been identified as 70-year-old Anthony Hanson of Marcano Street West, Princes Town. He is said to have retired early from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) due to illness, where he was last assigned to the Southern Division. Investigators believe Hanson was killed during an apparent home invasion and robbery. According to reports, a relative arrived at Hanson’s residence, around 11:30 AM on Sunday, and observed a door on the Eastern side of the house was open. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Ronald Joseph of Upper Abbe Poujade Road, Scorpion Alley, Carenage. According to reports, Joseph was liming at the side of the roadway when he was approached by a man wearing a mask and a hat, shortly before 7:00 AM. The man whipped out a firearm and opened fire on Joseph, striking him multiple times about the body before fleeing the area. Joseph managed to run a short distance away but collapsed.
