T&TEC: Electricity And Traffic Disruption Along Wrightson Road On Thursday

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that the supply of electricity will be interrupted along Wrightson Road, Port-of-Spain, between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Thursday (19th February, 2026), in order to upgrade and maintain the overhead line system in these areas.

Affected areas are as follows:

  • Along Wrightson Road between the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Station and Auto Works Limited, including Kaiso Blues Café, SWWTU Hall, Flament Street and all associated side streets.

The Commission notes that this work will necessitate a traffic interruption for vehicular and pedestrian traffic along Wrightson Road's Westbound carriageway, between Dock Road and SWWTU Hall, between 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to follow the guidance of the Police Officers on duty.

The Commission says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by this interruption.

Please be guided accordingly.
