The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation is advising motorists that pavement marking works will be carried out along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Beetham Highway, Westbound, between the Aranguez Overpass and Pioneer Drive. The works form part of the Ministry’s ongoing programme to maintain and improve road safety on the nation’s roadways.
Start Date: 13th July, 2026
Completion Date: 24th July, 2026
Working Hours: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
The Ministry notes that in order to minimize traffic disruption, works have been scheduled during the school vacation period when traffic volumes are typically lower.
To facilitate the works, sections of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Beetham Highway, Westbound, will be temporarily restricted in phases. Motorists will be directed to use the remaining open lanes.
Motorists are advised to:
- Follow all traffic signs and directions of Police Officers and traffic personnel on-site.
- Expect temporary delays and use alternative routes where possible.
- Exercise caution when approaching work zones.
- Reduce speed and comply with all temporary traffic management measures.
The Ministry said it “apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its patience and co-operation as these important road safety improvements are undertaken. Your safety is our priority.”
Please be guided accordingly.
