Temporary Traffic Disruption Along Churchill Roosevelt Highway And Beetham Highway Until 7th August, 2026
The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure is advising the public of a temporary traffic disruption along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway and the Beetham Highway, from Monday 3rd August, 2026 to Friday 7th August, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. This disruption is necessary to facilitate routine maintenance works, including an intensive vegetation-control exercise comprising grass cutting, edging, weeding and debris collection.
Works will be undertaken along the following locations:
- The median of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, between Valsayn and the Barataria Overpass; and
- The Beetham Highway, between the Barataria Overpass and the overpass in the vicinity of the Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited.
During this period, motorists are advised to:
- Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers;
- Comply with instructions issued by Police Officers, Traffic Wardens or flag persons, where necessary, to facilitate the safe and orderly flow of traffic; and
- Be mindful of personnel, equipment and heavy vehicles operating within, and entering and exiting the work zone.
The Ministry said it regrets any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its continued co-operation.
