Today’s Weather: Hot, Sunny, 30% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally hot and sunny conditions today (Wednesday 4th November, 2026). A few partly cloudy spells and showers are possible, but mainly over the Western half of Trinidad. There is also a low (30%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. Conditions should settle by evening, apart from the odd brisk shower.
Street flooding and gusty winds are possible in the event of heavy downpours.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1.2m to 1.5m in open waters and near 0.5m and choppy near showers in sheltered areas.
Recommendations for outdoor activities today:
Persons planning to spend time outdoors today should stay hydrated, wear lightweight, breathable clothing, apply sunscreen and limit prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during the hottest parts of the day. Those in Trinidad, especially over the Western half of the island, should remain alert for passing showers and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms, despite the generally hot and sunny conditions. Motorists and pedestrians should exercise caution during heavy downpours, as street flooding and gusty winds are possible. Beachgoers and persons participating in marine activities should also remain mindful of choppy conditions near showers, particularly in sheltered coastal areas.
