Today: Hot, Sunny, 40% Chance For Afternoon Thunderstorm Activity; 34°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), hot and sunny conditions today (Friday 3rd October, 2025) will be interrupted by partly cloudy to cloudy spells, accompanied by isolated light to moderate showers. There is a medium (40%) chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorm activity, favouring Western and hilly regions. Tonight will be mostly fair despite isolated showers.
The Met Office notes that in the event of thunderstorms, gusty winds are possible and street/flash flooding may occur in areas so prone.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 34°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters and up to 1m in sheltered areas.
