Today’s Weather: Hot, Sunny, 40% Chance For Thunderstorm Activity; 34°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally hot and sunny conditions today (Wednesday 1st October, 2025). Increased cloud cover and showers are possible between late morning and mid-afternoon, particularly along Western and hilly areas. There is a medium (40%) chance of isolated thunderstorm activity. This evening and tonight will be generally settled, apart from the chance of the odd isolated shower.
The Met Office notes that street flooding and gusty winds are likely in the event of heavy downpours. There is also a low chance of isolated flash flooding along Western areas of Trinidad.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 34°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters and below 1m and choppy near showers in sheltered areas.
