NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Laventille, Sangre Grande, Claxton Bay, Princes Town
UPDATE (04/11/25): T&TEC has cancelled the planned maintenance work in Princes Town.
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Laventille, Sangre Grande, Claxton Bay and Princes Town on Tuesday (4th November, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Laventille, Sangre Grande, Claxton Bay and Princes Town are as follows:
LAVENTILLE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along the Eastern Main Road: From William Street to Morvant Junction, including Value Hardware, Innovative Power Systems, Seecharan Auto Spares Limited, Stanley's Wood Finishes Limited, DeBrett Building, S.D. Simpson Memorial Funeral Chapel, Pigalle's Electrical Supplies & Services, Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Church, St. Mathias Anglican Church, Pashley Street (Southern side of the Eastern Main Road), Gangee Street, Xcalabar Auto Bodyshop 2000 Limited, Hosein Street, TSTT Laventille Work Centre, Angostura Street, Angostura Limited, Trinity Avenue, Fernandez Industrial Compound and all associated side streets.
SANGRE GRANDE (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Jawarsingh Road, Balata Hill Road, Sochan Gardens, Valsaquez Road, La Tosca Land Settlement Road, Nestor Village, Los Armadillos, La Pastora Road, Jubliee Street, Upper Guaico RC Primary School, TTPost, Tamana Hindu School, Jubliee Presbyterian Primary School and all associated side streets.
CLAXTON BAY (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #176 on corner of Cedar Hill Road and Foress Park Trace heading South up to LP #74 on Light Bourne Road, including Allarack Trace, Hermitage Road up to LP #391, Caratal Tortuga Road and all associated streets.
PRINCES TOWN (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
- Buen Intento Road, Princes Town Housing Development.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
