Synopsis And 5-Day Outlook

  • A series of weak perturbations are expected to cause intermittent increases in surface convergence and moisture advection across Trinidad and Tobago, the Windward Islands, and the Southern Leeward Islands, during this outlook period.
  • The surface convergence and moisture build-up, interacting with local dynamics, are likely to enhance the probabilities for isolated heavy showers or thunderstorm development, especially over Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Windward Islands on Tuesday (4th) and Wednesday (5th).
