TTPost St. James Location To Cease Operations On Friday 21st November, 2025
The Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPost) is advising that, effective Friday 21st November, 2025, its Corporate Shop and Delivery Office located at 61 - 63 Western Main Road, St. James 180199, will cease operations.
According to TTPost, “This decision supports our continued efforts to provide safe, efficient, and modern postal services nationwide.”
TTPost notes the following:
Post Office Boxes (P.O. Boxes):
- P.O. Boxes at the St. James location will remain operational until further notice. Customers may continue to access this service as usual.
Services redirected to our TTPost Corporate Shop and Delivery Office, located at Guardian Building, 22 - 24 St. Vincent Street, Port-of-Spain, 100299:
- P.O. Bag Items: Collection of P.O. Bag Mail will be accessible at our St. Vincent Street Delivery Office.
- Cluster Box Mail: Collection of Cluster Box Mail will be accessible at our St. Vincent Street Delivery Office.
- Out of Postal Mail: Collection of Out of Postal Mail will be accessible at our St. Vincent Street Delivery Office.
- Social Welfare Cheques: Collection of Social Welfare Cheques will be accessible at our St. Vincent Street Delivery Office. Valid Identification is mandatory.
- Parcel Services: All collection of parcels will be redirected to the St. Vincent Street Corporate Shop.
Mail Delivery Services:
- Door-to-Door Delivery of mail to residents currently serviced by the St. James Delivery Office will NOT be affected by the closure. Regular service to homes and businesses will continue as scheduled.
Retail Services:
- All Penalty Notices can be paid at any of TTPost's Corporate Shop locations in Trinidad.
- Customers are encouraged to access TTPost Retail Services at any of our other locations, with the nearest being the Tragarete Road Corporate Shop, located at 177 Tragarete Road, Woodbrook, 170401, which provides the complete range of Retail Services.
TTPost said it “remains committed to serving the St. James community and we thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work to enhance the postal experience for all.”
