Second Person Charged With Murder of Diego Martin Man
A 28-year-old man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of Odell Samuel, which occurred on 19th November, 2023.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Mickel Guiseppi of Chaguanas was charged with the offence when he appeared before Master Mohammed in the High Court, on Monday (1st December, 2025).
The matter was adjourned to 26th February, 2026.
Samuel, 27, of Diego Martin, was standing at a bus shed along the Audrey Jeffers Highway, in the vicinity of MovieTowne, on 19th November, 2023, when a white motor vehicle pulled up alongside him. A gunman emerged and several loud explosions were heard.
The victim was taken to Hospital for emergency medical treatment, where he was pronounced dead.
A male suspect was arrested by Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) Region I on 29th November, 2025.
Investigations were supervised by ASP (Ag.) Ramjag, Insp. (Ag.) Seecharan, Insp. (Ag.) Ramsumair, Insp. (Ag.) Stanislaus and PC Felix, all of HBI Region I.
Guiseppi was charged by WPC Clarke, previously attached to HBI Region I.
Anthony Caruth, 32, of Cocorite, was previously charged in relation to the murder of Samuel.
