T&TEC: NO Electricity On Sunday In Parts of St. Augustine And Curepe

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of St. Augustine and Curepe on Sunday (11th January, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in St. Augustine and Curepe are as follows: 

ST. AUGUSTINE (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • All customers from LP #48 on corner of Evans Street and Watts Street, heading East along Watts Street to LP #6, inclusive of Bedessie Street and LP #47 to LP #50 along Dookiesingh Street, St. Augustine. 
  • Note: UWI St. Augustine Campus will also be affected.

CUREPE (8:00 AM to 9:00 AM)

  • All customers along Lyndon Street, Bellesmythe Street, McDonald Street and from corner of Lyndon Street and Southern Main Road heading North along the Southern Main Road up to Farm Road, Curepe and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
