NO Electricity On Monday In Parts of Santa Cruz, Arima, Couva, South Oropouche

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Santa Cruz, Arima, Couva and South Oropouche on Monday (9th February, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Santa Cruz, Arima, Couva and South Oropouche are as follows: 

SANTA CRUZ (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • Along La Sagesse Road, inclusive of Hartland Development, Gasparillo Road, El Parico Road and all associated side streets.

ARIMA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • All customers from Hoyte Avenue up to LP #4 and all customers on Eastern Main Road from LP #29 to LP #33, including all associated side streets.
  • All customers on Mc Neil Street and all associated side streets.

COUVA (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #SL3 heading North up to LP #50 along Caspian Drive, Point Lisas.

COUVA (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

  • From LP #W3 heading North along Esperanza Road up to LP #66W on the Rivulet Road (in the vicinity of NGC Maintenance Compound).
  • From LP #52 (in the vicinity of Escape Marketing) heading West to LP #14 (in the vicinity of First and Last Bar) along the Rivulet Road, inclusive of Grant Street up to LP #A3 and Church Street up to LP #1.

SOUTH OROPOUCHE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From LP #1 Naranjit Trace, South Oropouche and all associated side streets, including Lake Road and Chaitoo Road.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
