NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of Diego Martin, Las Cuevas, Cumuto, Sangre Grande, Rio Claro
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Diego Martin, Las Cuevas, Cumuto, Sangre Grande and Rio Claro on Thursday (26th February, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Diego Martin, Las Cuevas, Cumuto, Sangre Grande and Rio Claro are as follows:
DIEGO MARTIN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Along Western zone of Cemetery Street and all associated side streets.
LAS CUEVAS (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along Zorro Road all associated side streets.
CUMUTO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Saint Maire Emmanuel Road, including Dedier Trace, Carpenter Trace, Hakoo Trace, Sookoo Trace, Guatapajaro Road, Thanoo Trace and all associated side streets.
SANGRE GRANDE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- LP #56 on Oropouche Road heading East, including El Reposo Road, Sonja Circular, Ragbir Avenue, Boodoo Highway, Non Pariel Road, Juantia Boulevard, Felmina, Tobal Road, Gordon Miller Settlement, Fishing Pond Road, Lobin Trace and all associated streets.
RIO CLARO (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From LP #855 Libertville to LP #615 Poole Village, Rio Claro, including Church Street, Khandan Road, Ponderosa Settlement, Old Mayaro Road, Paymar Branch Trace, Paymar Trace, Absalom Trace, Pariag Trace, Dades Trace (up to LP #10), Ragoo Trace, Campbell Trace, Valleyview Avenue, Adams Trace (Hillview Avenue), Lazzari Road, Beharry Trace, Lying Trace, Riverside Road, Poole Valley Trace, San Pedro Road (up to LP #51C), Ramnanan Street, John Andrew Street, Begasse Trace, Glod Road, Glod Branch Trace, Mantacool East Trace, Bickerhoo/Mantacool West Trace, Kissoon Ave, William Smith and Mantoocool Road, Harriot Trace, Warwell Road, Warwell 1st Branch Trace, Warwell 2nd Branch Trace, Warwell 3rd Branch Trace, and all associated side streets.
In addition to the above areas, several other parts of Trinidad may also experience a loss of electricity on Thursday (26th February, 2026).
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
