NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of Chaguaramas, Petit Valley, Valsayn, Cumuto, Matura, Couva, St. Mary’s

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Chaguaramas, Petit Valley, Valsayn, Cumuto, Matura, Couva and St. Mary’s on Thursday (12th February, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Chaguaramas, Petit Valley, Valsayn, Cumuto, Matura, Couva and St. Mary’s are as follows: 

CHAGUARAMAS - ZONE 1 (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Western side of Tucker Valley Road directly opposite U-Pick.

CHAGUARAMAS - ZONE 2 (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

  • Along Tucker Valley Road, inclusive of U-Pick, Bellerand Road, Bachelor Hall, Chaguaramas Development Authority (CDA) Police Headquarters, Guave Road, Trinidad Rifle Association, Edith Falls, Radio Tower Road and all associated side streets.

PETIT VALLEY (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • Pioneer Drive from LP #68 to LP #85, including Kavi Crescent and Sita Drive.

VALSAYN (8:00 AM to 9:00 AM)

  • UWI Field Station and Nestle Factory will be affected.

VALSAYN (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • Nestle Factory will be affected.

VALSAYN (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM)

  • UWI Field Station will be affected.

CUMUTO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • LP #69 to LP #80 on Little Cora Road.

MATURA (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

  • Along Valencia Main Road, North Oropouche from North Oropouche Substation heading East on to Toco Main Road, Matura and then heading North up to Carib Glass Works Factory, Matura, inclusive of all associated side streets.

COUVA (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

  • From corner of Noel Street and La Croix Street to corner of Noel Street and Grant Street, inclusive of Grant Street Extension, Railway Road, White Street, Toolsie Street, Merclane Street, William Street and all associated side streets.

ST. MARY'S (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • LP #211 St. Mary's Village to LP #64 Rochard Douglas Road and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
