NO Electricity On Wednesday In Parts of Westmoorings, St. James, Valsayn, Cunupia, Caratal, Caratal Road

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Westmoorings, St. James, Valsayn, Cunupia, Caratal and Caratal Road on Wednesday (11th February, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Westmoorings, St. James, Valsayn, Cunupia, Caratal and Caratal Road are as follows: 

WESTMOORINGS (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • All customers on Windsurf Road West from Elm Avenue to Sunset Drive.
  • All customers from LP #168S to LP #183S Western Main Road, including Paria Avenue.

ST. JAMES - ZONE 1 (6:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM)

  • Customers located within the Northern portion of Bay Road (until Panka Street), the Western portion of Finland Street (until Dengue Street), and the Southern portion of Ethel Street (until Panka Street), Broad Street, Vidale Street, Anderson Street and all associated side streets.

ST. JAMES - ZONE 2 (6:00 AM to 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM)

  • Inclusive of the following streets: Southern portion of Bay Road, Eastern portion of Finland Street, Northern portion of Ethel Street, Pujadas Street, Avenue First, Panka Street, Mucurapo Road (from Fatima College to Ethel Street), Clarence Street, Weekes Street, Nizam Street, Hyderabad Street, Cawnpore Street, Nepaul Street, Mucurapo West Secondary School, Mucurapo East Secondary School, Fatima Collage, St. Agnes Anglican Primary School, St. James Secondary School, Sixth Form Government Secondary School (Polytechnic Institute), Jamaat al Muslimeen Primary School, National Helicopter Service Limited Landing Pad, Santa Maria Plaza, Port-of-Spain Corporation Transport & Cleansing Department, Trinidad & Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TTSPCA), Benares Street, Henry Pierre Street and all associated side streets.

VALSAYN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • LP #14 Greenvale Avenue, Valsayn.

CUNUPIA (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From corner of Warren Road and Ajodha Road heading West to corner of Warren Road and Ramial Trace.
  • From corner of Ramlal Trace and Ramsaran Trace heading East up to LP #56 and all associated side streets, inclusive of Rangoo Trace, Chate Trace and Ramlal Trace Extension, Warren Road.

CUNUPIA (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #50 heading East up to LP #68 on Soogrim Trace East, inclusive of Train Line Trace, Dinoo Road, Rainbow Cresent all associated side streets.

CARATAL (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #68 on Forres Park Trace heading East up to LP #57 on Light Bourne Trace and all associated side streets.

CARATAL ROAD (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

  • LP #33 to LP #82 Caratal Road, including Surajbally Trace, Bhagwansingh Trace, Ramanne Avenue, Christian Drive, San Fabian Road and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
