NO Electricity On Tuesday In Parts of Port-of-Spain, Paramin, Matelot, Sangre Grande, Guaico

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Port-of-Spain, Paramin, Matelot, Sangre Grande and Guaico on Tuesday (3rd March, 2026). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Port-of-Spain, Paramin, Matelot, Sangre Grande and Guaico are as follows: 

PORT-OF-SPAIN (4:00 AM to 8:00 AM)

  • Ministry of Works, corner of Richmond Street and London Street.
  • Unit Trust Corporation, corner of Richmond Street and Independence Square.

PARAMIN (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

  • From LP #21 along Saut D'eau Road, Beau Pres Road, Paramin Hill, Morne Rene Road, Cocoa Trace, Genesis Kindergarten Preschool, Paramin Primary School, N.J. Educational Academy, WASA Tank Farm, La Finette and all associated side streets.

MATELOT (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #52 on Cemetery Street.

SANGRE GRANDE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From Shepherd Lane.

GUAICO (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #10 on Wallenvale Extension Road heading East, including Baker Trace.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
