T&TEC: NO Electricity On Friday In Parts of Couva, Princes Town, Tabaquite, Matelot
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Couva, Princes Town, Tabaquite and Matelot on Friday (7th February, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Couva, Princes Town, Tabaquite and Matelot are as follows:COUVA (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From LP #SL3 on Caspian Drive heading North and then onto the Waterloo Road up to LP #288 (in the vicinity of Denovo Energy Limited).
- From LP #288 on the Waterloo Road heading South up to LP #313 (in the vicinity of the FMCL Industrial Complex) and all associated side streets, Point Lisas.
PRINCES TOWN (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #102 to LP #11A St. Croix Road Extension, including Antoine Trace, Jaipaulsingh Road, Gobin Trace, Kansammy Trace, Rees Road, Saudia Avenue and all associated side streets.
TABAQUITE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From LP #1 to LP #9 Rebecca Richmond Road and all associated side streets.
MATELOT (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
- From LP #114 on Paria Main Road to LP #57/4 Samuel Street, including Rose Hill, Hosang Street, Martin Claud Street, Santa Cruz Road, Cemetery Street, Andrew Street, Grande Rivere Fishing Depot, Grande Rivere Community Centre, WASA, Grande Rivere Anglican School, Matelot Community School, Matelot Community R.C. Primary School, Matelot Early Childcare Centre, Matelot Community Centre, Monte Video Government Primary School, Matelot Health Centre and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
