WASA: Service Disruption In Parts of North-East Trinidad From Wednesday Night

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of North-East Trinidad, served by the Hollis Water Treatment Plant, that there will be an interruption in the water supply from 10:00 PM on Wednesday (12th February, 2025) to 6:00 AM on Thursday (13th February, 2025).

This has become necessary in order to facilitate the replacement of a defective 24-inch valve at the corner of O'Meara Road and the Priority Bus Route (PBR), Arima.

Affected areas are as follows:
  • Town of Arima (all areas South of Broadway, inclusive of Lawrence Park)
  • O'Meara Road (from Churchill Roosevelt Highway to SierraVista Street)
  • Samaroo Village
  • Leotaud Lands
  • Galaxy Gardens/Boys Lane
  • La Resource
  • Bregon Park
  • Bon Air Gardens
  • KP Lands, Valencia
  • ​Christina Gardens
  • ​Darwill Gardens
  • ​Mausica Road
  • ​Time Haven Development
  • ​Cleaver Road
  • ​Parts of Arouca
  • Chickland, Wallerfield

​Customers are further advised that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules, following the completion of these repairs. A limited truck-borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:
  • The WASA Services App, available via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store; or 
  • The Customer Portal, available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt
