WASA: Service Disruption In Parts of North-East Trinidad From Wednesday Night
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of North-East Trinidad, served by the Hollis Water Treatment Plant, that there will be an interruption in the water supply from 10:00 PM on Wednesday (12th February, 2025) to 6:00 AM on Thursday (13th February, 2025).
This has become necessary in order to facilitate the replacement of a defective 24-inch valve at the corner of O'Meara Road and the Priority Bus Route (PBR), Arima.Affected areas are as follows:
- Town of Arima (all areas South of Broadway, inclusive of Lawrence Park)
- O'Meara Road (from Churchill Roosevelt Highway to SierraVista Street)
- Samaroo Village
- Leotaud Lands
- Galaxy Gardens/Boys Lane
- La Resource
- Bregon Park
- Bon Air Gardens
- KP Lands, Valencia
- Christina Gardens
- Darwill Gardens
- Mausica Road
- Time Haven Development
- Cleaver Road
- Parts of Arouca
- Chickland, Wallerfield
Customers are further advised that it may take up to twenty-four (24) hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with established water supply schedules, following the completion of these repairs. A limited truck-borne service will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service options:
- The WASA Services App, available via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store; or
- The Customer Portal, available on the Authority’s website: www.wasa.gov.tt.
