Unplanned Water Interruption To Customers Supplied By San Fernando And South Oropouche Booster Stations
UPDATE (09/03/25): WASA said repairs to the leaking 28-inch transmission pipeline, which affected operations at the San Fernando and South Oropouche Booster Stations, are now complete as of 7:30 PM tonight (Sunday 9th March, 2025).
UPDATE (08/03/25): WASA said repair works continue to a leaking 28-inch transmission pipeline which is currently affecting operations at the San Fernando and South Oropouche Booster Stations. Equipment failure has necessitated the mobilization of additional equipment and materials. Completion is now projected as Midnight tonight (Saturday 8th March, 2025). WASA thanks all those affected for their continued patience.
The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers of unplanned water interruption due to emergency repairs to a leaking 28-inch transmission pipeline, affecting operations at the San Fernando and South Oropouche Booster Stations.
- Gulf View, Bel Air, Green Acres, La Romaine, Woodlkand, San Francique, Avocat, South Oropouche, Union Hall, Duncan Village, Palmiste, Sunkist, Esperance, Debe, Penal (up to Penal Plant), Siparia, Quarry Village, Cocoyea, Pleasantville, Vistabella, Marabella, San Fernando.
Affected South Oropouche Booster areas:
- South Oropouche, Otaheite, Dow Village, Rousillac, Fyzabad, Avocat, Syne, Darsan, San Francique, Antilles Trace, Murray Trace, Maria David, Red Hill Trace, Ramnath, Timitial Junction, along Pluck Road from Tenant Trace Junction to LP #177 Timitial Junction, Ramcharan Trace, Santa Celia, De Gannes Village, Lilly Trace, Alta Garcia Trace, Quarry Village, La Brea Trace, San Pit, Incinerator, Sudama Village, Lowkie, Reyes Trace, Mora Dam, along Rock Road from Penal Junction to Debidial Junction, Fazal Avenue, Bobby Avenue, Ramdeen Trace, La Costina, Aquart Village, Katwaroo, Sunress Road, Murderer Hill, Charlo Village along the SS Erin Road from Penal W.T.P to San Francique and up to Laltoo Trace, Katwaroo, Ragoonanan, Patiram.
