T&TEC: Traffic Disruption Across Uriah Butler Highway On Sunday

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) said it will be conducting overhead line maintenance works on the Bamboo - Charlieville 66 kV Circuit, across the Uriah Butler Highway on Sunday (21st September, 2025), which will necessitate the interruption of the normal flow of traffic.

The works will be conducted between 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Bamboo Substation on the Western side of the Uriah Butler Highway, to the Eastern side (across the Northbound and Southbound carriageways).

T&TEC notes that the traffic will be stopped for several periods, not exceeding fifteen (15) minutes, to facilitate the works across the Highway.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to follow the guidance of the Police Officers on duty.

The Commission said it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by this traffic interruption.
