THREE (3) Held In Trincity With Drug Shipment
Three (3) suspects were arrested and a quantity of cannabis seized during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Trincity district, over the weekend.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Officers of the DCP Operations Unit conducted an exercise at the Macoya Industrial Estate, around 4:20 PM on Saturday (6th September, 2025), based on intelligence received about an alleged drug shipment.
During the exercise, eighty-two (82) black packets, four (4) brown packets, two (2) transparent packets and one (1) red packet, all containing cannabis, were discovered.
The suspects, ages twenty-six (26) to forty-two (42), of Trincity and Chaguanas, were arrested for possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Investigations are ongoing into the above matter.
