Today’s Weather: Fair, Partly Cloudy, 60% Chance For Heavy Showers; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), today (Friday 5th September, 2025) will be fair, becoming partly cloudy at times with a few isolated light to moderate showers, near, but not confined to, hilly and Western areas. There is a medium (60%) chance that isolated heavy showers and/or thunderstorms could develop from early afternoon. Tonight will be mostly fair except for some isolated showery interruptions.
The Met Office notes that in the vicinity of heavy showers and/or thunderstorms, we can expect gusty winds, street/flash flooding and isolated ponding in areas so prone.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters.
