Today’s Weather: Hot, Sunny, 60% Chance For Heavy Showers; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally hot and sunny conditions today (Wednesday 17th September, 2025), interrupted by partly cloudy periods with showers, favouring but not confined to, Western and hilly areas. There is a medium (60%) chance of these showers becoming heavy and/or thundery at times. Tonight will be mostly fair, despite the odd isolated shower.
The Met Office notes that gusty winds and street/flash flooding can occur in the event of heavy showers or thunderstorms.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
