Today’s Weather: Sunny, Hazy, 40% Chance For Heavy Showers — Saharan Dust Present; 33°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect generally sunny and slightly hazy conditions today (Monday 22nd September, 2025), interrupted by a few partly cloudy intervals with showers. There is a medium (40%) chance of these showers becoming heavy and/or thundery at times. Tonight will be fair, despite a few isolated showery interruptions.
Gusty winds and street/flash flooding can occur in the event of heavy showers or thunderstorms.
The Met Office notes that a mild concentration of Saharan dust is present in the atmosphere. Sensitive persons should take the necessary precautions.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 33°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 32°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1m to 1.5m in open waters and below 1m in sheltered areas.
