Carapichaima Man Appears In Court — Charged With Murder
A Carapichaima man has appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with the murder of Keston Gaildo, aka ‘Fox,’ which occurred on Sunday 14th September, 2025.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), Klevon Watson, aka ‘Mosai,’ of Chase Village, Carapichaima, was charged with the offence when he appeared before Master Rhea Libert in the North Criminal Court C on Monday 13th October, 2025.
The matter was adjourned to 14th January, 2026 and the Sufficiency Hearing date set for 3rd June, 2026.
Gaildo was in the company of another man on Sunday 14th September, 2025, when they allegedly got into a physical altercation in the Freeport district. During the incident, the victim was allegedly stabbed multiple times about the body. The assailant subsequently fled the scene on foot.
A male suspect was arrested in connection with the matter on Thursday 9th October, 2025 by Officers of the Central Division.
Investigations were spearheaded by Supt. Steve Persad, and supervised by ASP Maharaj, both of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI) Region III.
Watson was charged with the offence by WPC Mohammed, also of HBI Region III, on Sunday 12th October, 2025, following advice received from Acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Sabrina Dougdeen-Jaglal, on that same day.
