DOUBLE Murder At Bull’s Bar, Valencia; TWO (2) Others Wounded
UPDATE (18/10/25): CCTV footage has emerged of the double murder at Bull’s Bar in Valencia.
Two (2) men are dead and two (2) other persons wounded following a shooting incident at a bar in Valencia early this morning (Saturday 11th October, 2025). The deceased have been identified as 26-year-old Derrick Rowley of San Pedro Extension, Valencia, and Marcus Lane, Valencia, and 42-year-old Shane Fulchan of Majack Hill, Valencia. Rowley was said to be a father of three (3) young children, all under the age of five (5).
According to reports, several men were playing pool outside Bull’s Bar, located along Valencia Old Road, Valencia, where Rowley was seated in a corner, when three (3) masked gunmen opened fire on the group, shortly after 1:00 AM. The men are said to have entered the compound through a hole in the perimeter fence.
Rowley and Pulchan were hit multiple times. The bar owner’s wife and another patron were also struck in the hail of bullets — one in the thigh and the other in the stomach. Both were rushed to the Sangre Grande Hospital, where they were treated and remain warded in stable condition.
Police said the bar proprietor, an off-duty Police Officer, was inside the establishment at the time. Fearing for his life and that of patrons, he drew his service-issued M&P pistol and returned fire at the gunmen, discharging thirteen (13) rounds of 9mm ammunition.
The gunmen escaped through the same hole in the fence and fled into nearby bushes parallel to Marcus Trace, continuing to shoot as they retreated toward the Valencia Old Road.
Police and Emergency Health Services were notified and responded to the scene. However, both Rowley and Pulchan succumbed to their injuries.
Crime scene investigators recovered thirty-nine (39) spent shell casings — eighteen (18) of 5.56 calibre, twenty-one (21) of 9mm, and two (2) projectiles believed to have been fired from the assailants’ weapons.
Investigations are continuing into the double murder.
