NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of Carenage, Arima, Toco, Maracas St. Joseph, Debe, Mafeking

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Carenage, Arima, Toco, Maracas St. Joseph, Debe and Mafeking on Thursday (16th October, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Carenage, Arima, Toco, Maracas St. Joseph, Debe and Mafeking are as follows: 

CARENAGE (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Along L'Anse Mitan Road, inclusive of Thompson Circle and all associated side streets.

ARIMA (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • From Santa Rosa Substation along the Eastern side of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway to LP #E7059778 in the vicinity of the walkover, inclusive of Ministry of Works - Soil Labs Building and the Pump Station at the Crossings.

TOCO (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #360 to LP #977 on Toco Main Road, including Tompire South Bank Road, Mora Trace, WASA Tompire Water Treatment Plant, Arthur Street, Cumana Community Centre, Anglais Road, NP Gas Station, Punch Street, Chootoo Trace, Peace Drive, Cumana RC School, Cumana AC School, Cumana SDA School, Gajadhar Trace, Monsegue Trace and all associated side streets.

MARACAS ST. JOSEPH (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM) 

  • From corner of La Baja Road and La Boiselle Road to LP #4 Boiselle Road.

DEBE (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) 

  • LP #A9/3 Estate Road off SS Erin Road, Phillipine.

MAFEKING (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) 

  • Off LP #1025 Naparima Mayaro, Mafeking Village, including Cedar Grove Road, Gregorio Trace, Sylvan Trace and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
