NO Electricity On Wednesday In Parts of Santa Cruz, Arima, Tunapuna, La Horquetta, Barrackpore

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Santa Cruz, Arima, Tunapuna, La Horquetta and Barrackpore on Wednesday (22nd October, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Santa Cruz, Arima, Tunapuna, La Horquetta and Barrackpore are as follows: 

SANTA CRUZ (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM) 

• River Road, Grand Curacaye between LP #51 and LP #53/4.

ARIMA (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM)

• From LP #205 to LP #N50 on Churchill Roosevelt Highway, including Mandarin Circle, LP #1 to LP #11 Pinto North Road, Avocado Drive, Cherry Tree Circle, WASA, Mango Road, Muller Trace, LP #7 to LP #20 Demarara Road, Agua Santa Road, Blue Oglesby Street, Ginger Lily Drive, Prison and all associated side streets.

TUNAPUNA (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM) 

• From LP #1 to LP #14 Prescott Lane, including LP #7 Chaitram Trace, LP #1 Ramdath Street and all associated side streets.

LA HORQUETTA (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

• Along Churchill Roosevelt Highway between WASA New Malabar Wastewater Treatment Plant and De Freitas Boulevard, inclusive of WASA New Malabar Wastewater Treatment Plant.

BARRACKPORE (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) 

• From LP #75 Railway Repad West to LP #A21 Wellington Road, including Gandhi Village Road, M2 Ring Road, Link Road, Wellington Road, Rose Garden, Orchid Drive, Bougainvillea Drive, Periwinkle Drive, Hibiscus Drive, Dianthus Drive, Clarkia Drive, Sunflower Drive, Wellington Gardens Phase 1, Wellington Gardens Phase 2, and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
