PTSC Confirms Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck By Bus In Arima
The Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) is confirming that an incident occurred on Tuesday (14th October, 2025), involving one of its buses and a pedestrian in the vicinity of the Arima Lay-by.
In a Media Release following the incident, the PTSC said, “Emergency medical personnel responded promptly, and the injured pedestrian was transported to the Arima Health Facility for medical attention. The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is currently investigating this incident and the PTSC is fully co-operating with the authorities.”
The PTSC said it “reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and assures the public that the well-being of passengers, employees and the wider community remains its top priority.”
