Republic Bank: Service Disruption In Branches Due To Teller System Issue

UPDATE (1:15 PM): Republic Bank said its teller system is now fully functional across the branch network. “Branch operations have resumed as normal with branch opening hours being extended for non-mall branches to 3:00 PM. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”


Republic Bank Limited (RBL) is advising customers that it is presently experiencing a technical challenge with its teller system, resulting in service delays in branches.

In an “Important Notice” shared online shortly before 12:00 PM today (Wednesday 1st October, 2025), RBL stated, “Our team is working assiduously to address the situation and will provide an update by 1:00 PM today. We encourage our customers to utilize our electronic banking services (ATMs, Point of Sale, RepublicOnline and RepublicMobile) in the interim. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.”
