T&TEC: NO Electricity On Wednesday In Parts of Maraval, Paramin, Matelot
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Maraval, Paramin and Matelot on Wednesday (15th October, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Maraval, Paramin and Matelot are as follows:
MARAVAL (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along Saddle Road: From Woodland Terrace to Monique's Guest House, including Lynch Drive, WASA Maraval Water Treatment Plant, Hillsboro, 5th Street and all associated side streets.
- Note: This work will necessitate a traffic interruption for vehicles and pedestrians along Saddle Road Maraval, between Lynch Drive and Anguilla Park.
- Drivers and pedestrians are advised to follow the guidance of the Police Officers on duty.
PARAMIN (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
- Along La Finette Road, including Cameron, Morne Rene Road, Northern part of Beau Pres Road, Cocoa Trace, Morne Roche Road and all associated side streets.
MATELOT (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM)
- From LP #1 on Paria Main Road to LP #57/4 Samuel Street, including Basin Bay Road, Rose Hill, Hosang Street, Martin Claud Street, Santa Cruz Road, Cemetery Street, Andrew Street, Grande Rivere Fishing Depot, Grande Rivere Community Centre, WASA, L'anse Moravian Primary School, Matelot Community School, Matelot Community R.C. Primary School, Monte Video Government Primary School, San Souci R.C. Primary School, Matelot Preschool, Matelot Early Childcare Centre, Toco R.C. Primary School, Matelot Community Centre, Matelot Health Centre and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
