Today’s Weather: Hot, Sunny, 40% Chance For Heavy Afternoon Showers; 35°C Max
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), we can expect predominantly hot and sunny conditions today (Monday 6th October, 2025), despite a few light or moderate showers at times. There is also a medium (40%) chance of isolated afternoon heavy showers or thunderstorms, favouring, but not confined to, hilly and Western areas. Tonight will be fair.
The Met Office notes that gusty winds and street/flash flooding are possible in the event of heavy showers and/or thunderstorms.
The forecast maximum temperature today will be 35°C at Piarco in Trinidad and 33°C at Crown Point in Tobago.
Seas are moderate with waves 1.5m to 2m in open waters and below 1m but occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
