Fake Landscapers Rob Maraval Home Owner Over CAD $100,000
Several victims have been left traumatized following a violent home invasion and robbery by armed bandits posing as landscapers, at Fairways, Maraval, on Wednesday morning (19th November, 2025).
According to reports, the female owner of the property was at home with her housekeeper and gardener, around 11:30 AM, when five (5) men, dressed in green coveralls and claiming to be from a landscaping company, but unknown to the victims, entered the property.
The armed suspects announced a robbery and proceeded to beat the gardener before tying him up and robbing him of his cellphone. Another suspect began slapping the housekeeper before taking her iPhone Pro Max. The intruders then ordered her to call out to the home owner.
Three (3) of the suspects then forced the homeowner to her bedroom at knifepoint and demanded access to her safe. The intruders stole over CAD $100,000 and an undisclosed sum in Trinidad and Tobago currency, before fleeing the scene.
Investigations are continuing into the home invasion and robbery by Cpl. Rahim.
