FIVE (5) Students Arrested During Warrant Operation In Tobago

Officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) conducted a warrant operation in the Scarborough District on Tuesday (4th November, 2025), resulting in the arrest of five (5) minors on outstanding warrants.

According to the TTPS, the operation was conducted between the hours of 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM and was co-ordinated by Insp. Wilson and supervised by Sgt Yorke. The exercise was executed by Officers attached to the Scarborough Police Station.

During the operation, Officers arrested and charged the following individuals for assault by beating:

  • A 14-year-old of Cradley Trace, Concordia.
  • A 14-year-old of Bon Accord.
  • A 14-year-old of Calder Hall, Scarborough.
  • A 16-year-old of Smithfield, Scarborough.
  • A 16-year-old of Calder Hall, Scarborough.

The TTPS notes that all suspects, who are students, were taken into Police custody for processing and are expected to appear before the Juvenile Court to answer the respective charges.
