Here’s The 5-Day Weather Outlook For T&T [Saturday Until Wednesday]
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS), weak perturbations or troughs are likely to cause surface convergence with equatorial moisture build-up, mainly across the Southern Windward Islands, during this outlook period.
Tropical Waves, Troughs And Disturbances
- There are no significant features for cyclonic development analyzed for this outlook period.
Looking Beyond This Outlook Period
- At this time, looking ahead in the Area of Interest during the seven (7) days following this outlook period, the analysis continues to indicate mainly fluctuating levels of low-level convergence and intermittent periods of equatorial moisture build-up mainly across the Windward Islands. There are no significant features for cyclonic development analyzed.
- These early analyses so far into the future are subjected to much variation as time progresses. The Met Office said it will continue to analyze and monitor all developments, or possible developments, within our Area of Interest.
Seas
- The wind waves in the open waters to the near-East and Northeast of Trinidad and Tobago are expected to be 1.5m to 2m, peaking at 2m on Tuesday (25th).
Wind
- The wind in the near-surface to the lower mid-level over Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Windward Islands (2,000 ft to 5,000 ft) is expected to be near 20 kts during this outlook period. Direction is expected to be initially from the Northeast but will veer to East-Northeast to East by Sunday (23rd).
Dust
- Generally mild to moderate concentrations of dust will be present in the atmosphere until Monday (24th), when it becomes mostly moderate. Sensitive persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.
Synopsis And 5-Day Outlook
- Intermittent periods of increased convergence and moisture build-up, mainly over Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Windward Islands, are expected to produce partly cloudy days that become cloudy at times, with some showers and low to medium chances of isolated heavy showers or a thunderstorm.
Saturday (22nd November, 2025)
- Trinidad and Tobago: Fair to partly cloudy morning with a few light to moderate showers and a medium chance for a heavy shower or thunderstorm, mainly over coastal and near offshore areas. Generally fair afternoon but with a medium chance for an isolated thunderstorm to develop, favouring Western Trinidad.
- The remainder of the Lesser Antilles: Mostly fair with brief light to moderate showers mainly near hilly areas.
Sunday (23rd November, 2025)
- Trinidad and Tobago: Partly cloudy with a few light to moderate showers and a medium chance for a heavy shower or thunderstorm, mainly over coastal and near offshore areas during the morning and favouring Western Trinidad during the afternoon.
- The remainder of the Lesser Antilles: Mostly fair, becoming partly cloudy over the Windward and Southern Leeward Islands, with a few light to moderate showers and a low chance of an isolated heavy shower, mainly near hilly areas.
Monday (24th November, 2025)
- Trinidad and Tobago: Partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times, with a few light to moderate showers and a medium chance of an isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm, favouring Western Trinidad and Western Tobago.
- The remainder of the Lesser Antilles: Mostly fair, becoming partly cloudy over the Windward and Southern Leeward Islands, with a few light to moderate showers and a low to medium chance of an isolated heavy shower.
Tuesday (25th November, 2025)
- Trinidad and Tobago: Generally fair morning with a few brief showers, but there is a medium chance of a heavy shower or thunderstorm, mainly over coastal and offshore areas. Generally fair afternoon, but with a medium chance for an isolated thunderstorm to develop, favouring Southwestern Trinidad.
- The remainder of the Lesser Antilles: Mostly fair, becoming partly cloudy over the Southern Leeward Islands, with a few light to moderate showers and a low chance of an isolated heavy shower.
Wednesday (26th November, 2025)
- Trinidad and Tobago: Mostly fair day with a few brief showers, but there is a medium chance of a heavy shower or thunderstorm, mainly over near coastal and Southern offshore areas during the morning. Showers may also occur, mainly near hilly areas during the day.
- The remainder of the Lesser Antilles: Mostly fair, becoming partly cloudy over the Windward and Southern Leeward Islands, with a few light to moderate showers and a low chance for an isolated heavy shower, mainly near hilly areas.
The TTMS said it continues to analyze and monitor all developments within the Area of Interest.
