Man Shot Dead While Riding Bicycle In Enterprise, Chaguanas — Police Investigating

A man is dead following a shooting incident in Enterprise, Chaguanas, this morning (Saturday 22nd November, 2025). The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old welder, Dwayne Baynes of Crown Trace, Enterprise.
According to reports, Baynes was riding his bicycle at the corner of Postman Drive and Mano Trace, Enterprise, when he was shot shortly before 9:00 AM.
Police and Emergency Health Services were notified. Upon arrival, they found the body of the victim at the side of the road, with a bicycle between his legs. However, Baynes succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Crime scene investigators recovered five (5) spent 9mm shells and said robbery was not the motive, as Baynes had $607 on him, a pack of cigarettes, a lighter, and a bunch of keys. A bottle containing what appeared to be grey, rock-like substances was also found nearby. Police believe this murder was gang-related. Investigations are continuing.
