NO Electricity On Sunday In Parts of Port-of-Spain, Laventille, Chaguanas, Couva
The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of Port-of-Spain, Laventille, Chaguanas and Couva on Sunday (16th November, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works — 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
According to T&TEC, the affected areas in Port-of-Spain, Laventille, Chaguanas and Couva are as follows:
PORT-OF-SPAIN
- From LP #N1039522 on Priority Bus Route (PBR) to LP #N1039068 on PTSC compound.
LAVENTILLE
- Along Picton Road between Plaisance Road and Foster Road, including Plaisance Road, Foster Road, Quevedo Circular Road, Vieira Street and associated side streets.
CHAGUANAS
- From Pole 463E in the vicinity of T&TEC Chaguanas East Substation along the Southern Main Road up to Pole #459 on Ramsaran Street.
- From Pole #452 heading West along Chaguanas Main Road until Pole #57 along Chaguanas Main Road and from Pole #453 turning South onto the Southern Main Road until Pole #459.
- From Pole #57 on Eleanor Street until the junction to enter the Southern Main Road and from Pole #4 along Endeavour Road up to Pole #17 in the vicinity of Busy Comer, including Eleanor Street up to Pole #57, customers being supplied via Pole #59 on Manic Street, Trial Street up to Pole #214 and all associated side streets.
COUVA
- From corner of Exchange Lot Road and Karamdeen Street heading North to corner of Exchange Lot Road and Brickfield Road.
- From corner of Exchange Lot Road and Brickfield Road heading North up to LP #3 on Brickfield Road.
- From corner of Exchange Estate Road and Rubia Drive to Entrance Road of Exchange Housing Development Phase Ill, inclusive of Market Street, Santolina Drive, Mongolia Drive, Heliconia Drive and all associated side streets.
T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
