NO Electricity On Thursday In Parts of San Juan/Santa Cruz, Arima, Sangre Grande, Charlieville, Penal, Santa Flora, Guayaguayare

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is advising customers that planned maintenance work will affect several areas of San Juan/Santa Cruz, Arima, Sangre Grande, Charlieville, Penal, Santa Flora and Guayaguayare on Thursday (20th November, 2025). This may result in loss of electricity between the hours of works. 

According to T&TEC, the affected areas in San Juan/Santa Cruz, Arima, Sangre Grande, Charlieville, Penal, Santa Flora and Guayaguayare are as follows: 

SAN JUAN/SANTA CRUZ (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • Ryan Street, Jackson Street, Zaman Avenue, Thompson Trace West off Saddle Road, along the Santa Cruz Old Road, inclusive of Hislop Street, Real Street, Queen Street, Campo Street, Picton Street, Bushe Street, Quarry Road and all associated side streets.
  • Note: San Juan Health Centre, San Juan R.C. Presbytery and Seminary of F.M.I. Order and San Juan Police Station will be affected.

ARIMA (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM)

  • Between LP #41 to LP #43 on Calvary Hill, inclusive of Joropo Drive.

SANGRE GRANDE (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • From LP #A23 to LP #136 on Toco Main Road heading East, including Quash Trace Extension, El Reposo Road, Wine Factory Road, La Seiva Extension, Riverside Road, Kissoon Trace, Vega De Oropouche Road, Sahadeen Trace, Harold Street and all associated side streets.

CHARLIEVILLE (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM)

  • From LP #64 (in the vicinity of Charlieville Substation) on Akaloo Trace heading West on to Chadee Lohar Road up to LP #56. 
  • From LP #56 on Chadee Lohar Road heading South on to Francis Lalla Road and then South on to Ackbar Road up to LP #50 (in the vicinity of Ride in Style Auto Accessories).
  • From Francis Lalla Road, crossing the Uriah Butler Highway onto the Caroni Savannah Road (in the vicinity of Kiefer and Ram Auto Clinic) then North on the Caroni Savannah Road on to Cemetery Street up to LP #A54 (in the vicinity of Holiday Foods Limited), then South on the Caroni Savannah Road up to LP #84 (in the vicinity of Pierre Road NP Gas Station), inclusive of Oasis Avenue, Muhammed Lane, Jameel Street, Assaraff Road, Cemetery Street, Railway Road, Dinoo Road, Rattan Drive, West Sumaria Trace, Newaj Rustam Road, Baboonia Drive, Saleem Terrace, Deen Ul Haq Road, Ackbar Trace, Greystone Drive, Bernard Drive CBC, Ali's Drive and all associated side streets.
  • From LP #57 Assaraf Road East heading North to LP #57/3/2, inclusive of all associated side streets.

PENAL (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

  • LP #48 Clarke Road, Penal and all associated side streets.

SANTA FLORA (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM)

  • LP #561 SS Erin Road, Santa Flora to LP #772 SS Erin Road, Siparia, including Beach Road, Ryan Trace, Market Street, Webber Trace, Los Charos Road, Wharton Trace No. 2, No. 4 Road, Allen Street, Greenidge Trace, Wilson Trace, Dickie Trace, James Street, Lorensotte Village, Industry Lane, Stol Road, Lorensotte Main Road, Chamberville, Sheila Lamorell Gardens, Sheila Lamorell Drive, Rancho Quemado South Trace, Link Road, Johnson Trace, Rancho Quemado Road, Partap Trace, Jasmine Oil Field Road, Happy Valley Road, Carapal Road, Toucan Valley, Tribhuwan Parkway, Thomas Street, Stephen and Johnson, Los Iros Beach Road, Thomas Street, Lorensotte South Trace, St. Francis Village, Pepper Village, Carapal Road, La Union Road, Erin Farms, La Resource Road, Miller Farm, Erin Road and all associated side streets.

  • From LP #312 Newlands Village to LP #160 Stonebright Village, Guayaguayare Road, Guayaguayare, including Newlands Housing Scheme, Guayaguayare Food Crop Road, Guaya Food Crop Road, Shareen Avenue, Far Road, Sand Sucker Road, Frontin Road and all associated side streets.

T&TEC says it regrets the inconvenience which may be caused by these interruptions.
