The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is informing customers in parts of Maraval, served by Moka Wells No. 1 and 2, who are experiencing low pressures or no water at times, that this is due to mechanical problems at Moka Well No. 2.

WASA notes that extensive rehabilitation work on the well will commence on 5th November, 2025 and is expected to be completed by 12th November, 2025.

Affected areas include:

  • Saddle Road from Moka to Rosa Hill, Calvary Hill, lower Saddle Hill, lower Moraldo Road, lower Bowen Street, Ward Lane and Haleland Park.

To mitigate the impact of this disruption, the Authority said it will implement an interim water supply schedule to the affected areas as follows:

  • Monday 6:00 PM to Tuesday 6:00 AM.
  • Tuesday 6:00 PM to Wednesday 6:00 AM.
  • Saturday 6:00 PM to Sunday 6:00 AM.

A limited truck-borne water supply will be available upon request. This can be requested through the following self-service option:

Alternatively, customers requiring a truck-borne supply, direct assistance or further information, can contact WASA's Customer Call Centre, toll free at 800-4420 to 800-4426.

The Authority said it regrets the inconvenience caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.
