38-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In Car Park of Bar In Kelly Village — Police Investigating
A man is dead following a shooting incident in the car park of a bar in Kelly Village early Saturday morning (6th December, 2025). The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Gabriel Simon.
According to reports, Simon attempted to separate his brother and a woman who were arguing inside the bar, around 2:25 AM. After they went their separate ways, he walked outside the bar to smoke a cigarette. However, approximately fifteen (15) minutes later, several loud explosions were heard and Simon was found lying motionless.
Police said they received a report of loud explosions, around 2:45 AM, and upon arrival at the scene, they were directed to the body of Simon, who was lying in the car park to the front of the bar. He was found on his back, wearing a red sweatsuit and white-and-red multi-coloured sneakers, with his arms outstretched. He had apparent gunshot injuries to the face.
A District Medical Officer (DMO) subsequently pronounced Simon dead.
Police have not yet established a motive for this murder.
Investigations are continuing.
