Another Robbery In Trincity Mall Car Park — Woman Dragged, Robbed of Handbag With Cash
A woman was dragged on the ground during another robbery incident in the car park of Trincity Mall on Thursday night (18th December, 2025).
According to reports, the victim, a woman from Belmont, was walking with her husband towards their vehicle, at the South-Western car park of Trincity Mall, near Tru Valu Supermarket, around 7:30 PM, when two (2) men alighted from a silver-grey Nissan Tiida (PDS 8490), which was parked next to them. The men approached the woman, shouting, “Wah in dah bag dey!” before grabbing her handbag.
A struggle reportedly ensued, during which the woman fell to the ground and was dragged a short distance before releasing her grip on the bag. The suspects then returned to their vehicle and fled the scene, escaping onto the nearby Churchill Roosevelt Highway in an Easterly direction.
The stolen U.K. handbag was valued at £500 and contained a Samsung A11 cellphone, US $300 in cash, TT $1,500 in cash, several debit and credit cards, a set of keys, and other personal items.
Just last week, a 34-year-old man from Ste. Madeleine was robbed of TT $42,000 in cash in broad daylight in the car park of Trincity Mall, near Pennywise Cosmetics, by two (2) men wearing ski masks.
Investigations are continuing into both recent robberies.
More on this as it becomes available.
