Breaking: U.S. Seizes SECOND Oil Tanker Last Seen Docked In Venezuela
The United States seized a second oil tanker connected to Venezuela early this morning (Saturday 20th December, 2025), marking a dramatic escalation in Washington’s enforcement of sanctions and pressure on President Nicolás Maduro and his Government. This was announced a short while ago this afternoon by Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem.
According to Secretary Noem, “In a pre-dawn action early this morning on Dec. 20, the U.S. Coast Guard with the support of the Department of War apprehended an oil tanker that was last docked in Venezuela. The United States will continue to pursue the illicit movement of sanctioned oil that is used to fund narco terrorism in the region. We will find you, and we will stop you.”

The Secretary also thanked the brave men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of War.
Officials said the interception occurred as part of a broader U.S. blockade on sanctioned oil vessels entering or leaving Venezuelan waters — an operation that is currently unfolding amid heightened military activity in the Caribbean.
This latest seizure follows a similar U.S. operation earlier this week, when forces captured the oil tanker dubbed ‘Skipper’ — a large vessel believed to be transporting Venezuelan crude oil.
