Man Shot Dead In Brutal Attack Inside Vehicle In Sangre Chiquito, TWO (2) Others Hospitalized

A man is dead and two (2) others wounded following a dramatic shooting incident in Sangre Chiquito on Friday afternoon (12th December, 2025). The deceased has not yet been identified.

According to reports, the occupants of a white Toyota sedan had just entered the Eastern Main Road at Sangre Chiquito, when a wagon traveling in the opposite direction suddenly swung across, blocking their path, around 12:00 PM.

The driver of the sedan immediately attempted to reverse, but before the vehicle could escape, gunmen inside the wagon opened fire.

As bullets rapidly struck the reversing car, it veered off the roadway and crashed in an open yard. A passenger from the car quickly exited the vehicle and fled.

At least three (2) attackers then alighted from the wagon. Two (2) were armed — one (1) with what appeared to be an AR-15 high-powered rifle — and the other with a handgun. They unleashed a barrage of gunfire on the crashed car and its occupants, before getting back into the wagon, which sped off.

A wounded survivor was pinned beneath the crashed sedan and bleeding from a gunshot wound to the back.

Most of the brutal attack was captured on CCTV, including audio from the wounded survivor, who issued a chilling message moments after the attack: “I hope they know what they do.”

The man was heard calling a woman on his phone: “They now trying to kill me girl. Ah feel everybody else in the car dead. Ah get one in meh back. Ah pin under the car…Ah cyah move…Ah pin under the car.”

In another moment, the man was heard reciting the Arabic phrase: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un,” which translates to: “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return.”

Meanwhile, the man who initially escaped when the car crashed, returned moments later. CCTV shows him removing what appeared to be his Muslim attire as he approached the bullet-riddled vehicle.

The pinned survivor, still in visible distress, also issued a warning to a bystander who attempted to record the scene, threatening that the individual could meet the same fate the attackers would endure.

Police have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim or confirmed a motive for the deadly ambush in broad daylight.

Investigations are continuing into what appears to be a targeted, execution-style attack.

More on this as it becomes available.
